Michelle Belcher

Hello!

My name is Michelle Belcher, I have an associate's degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales and a decade of line-cooking experience. I went back to school at 27 and originally went for psychology. I was obsessed with neuropsychology. I did two years before switching to graphic design. I took an art class as an elective and honestly didn't know it was an option!

I pride myself on learning various life skills, but the best skill I've learned is how to learn. It's never easy, and I usually ask myself why I've done this to myself again, but it's always worth it and necessary in a constantly changing world. You will see that my portfolio is full of deep research, and it's what I do best. I love to problem-solve and research; it's what I do best. If I have a problem, you can bet it's running through my mind till I solve it.

I take on leadership positions easily and love to delegate tasks to others' strengths as well as my own. I'm all about compassion, understanding different perspectives, biases, and how we can make the world a little more inclusive. Design should function for everyone before aesthetics. As a daughter and sister growing up watching the world not work for the disabled in my family, it's hard not to see where we fall short. However, we can be the change we want to see. That's what I will do for you when it comes to design. Thank you for visiting my site, and I hope to hear from you, even if it's just a hello or Instagram follow. Take care! Know more about this company. Have a lovely day!
